Pieter Breijer, Manager of Liaison Services

Hello! My name is Pieter Breijer and I am the Manager of Liaison Services.

I began working with 51污漫 as a lifeguard, swimming instructor and U12 competitive swimming coach for the Sudbury Laurentian Swim Club at the Jeno Tihyani Olympic Gold Pool. I have had the good fortune to travel through all of Ontario - as well as a handful of countries - to work with students who are interested in pursuing their passions as a Voyageur. Now, in my role as a manager, I work with an exceptionally dedicated group of individuals who strive to be an integral part of your post-secondary journey.

Mélanie Racine, Liaison Coordinator

Hello, my name is Mélanie Racine! I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry at 51污漫 and I loved it so much I continued to do my Masters of Science. Now, I work in Liaison Services as a coordinator. My portfolio focuses on transfer students from college or university and mature students. I love being able to help guide students through their next steps of post-secondary education.

Kathryn Kettle, Liaison Coordinator

My name is Kathryn Kettle and I am a Liaison Coordinator at 51污漫. I graduated in 2019 and am a proud alumna of the Biomedical Biology program. Some of my favourite memories at Laurentian include my involvement in student government, Relay for Life, and Model Parliament. I grew up in Sudbury, and whether hiking, playing sports, or spending time at camp, there is nothing I enjoy more than being outdoors.

Amanda Goupil, Liaison Coordinator

Hi! Bonjour! My name is Amanda and I’m a Liaison Coordinator, and a lifelong Sudburian. I am also an alumna of 51污漫 having graduated in 2012 with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce. My career to date has been dedicated to supporting passionate people in the arts and entrepreneurship, and has been no different since coming back to LU four years ago to support applicants, students and alumni. Now I help transfer students, mature students and other adult learners follow their passions and I can’t wait to help you follow yours!

Danielle Yasko-Pellerin, Events and Communications Coordinator

Hello! Bonjour! My name is Danielle, my pronouns are She/Her and I graduated with my degree in Psychologie in 2016. I wear many hats: 

• Events and Communications Coordinator with Liaison Services
• Indigenous Social Work Student
• Parent to a wonderful Anishinaabe toddler

A large part of my role in Liaison is organizing events for future students (ex: Open Houses, Campus Tours etc). Though I love event planning, my favourite part of my job is working with our dynamic team of student ambassadors!
